Before your devices ship, a few quick steps ensure a smooth, delay-free process. Work through the checklist below and check off each item as you go.

If available, send the list of serial numbers included in your order to your CSR.

Ensure the MDM Feature “Erase all Contents and Settings” is available and not restricted for all devices.

Remove any PIN codes or Usernames from your devices.

Log into Apple School Manager and disable Activation Locks on devices.

Fully “Release” devices from Apple School Manager. (Devices unassigned only will not allow SLM to erase).

Export list of released devices for your records, and send to your CSR for verification.

If our Blue Glove Team is coming on site to pack and ship your devices, they will sample your devices for MDM and Activation locks, as well as the MDM features listed in steps 2 & 3. If any are found you will be notified, and please understand devices remaining with these features will experience delays in processing.
